Had everything needed for a basic overnight stay and was clean & comfortable enough. Restaurant next door but we didn't use it, looked like it was popular so if we weren't off meeting family we would have liked to try it as would be very convenient!

We were visiting relatives in leigh on sea. The property was central and within walking distance to Southend. Parking was available outside the hotel. We loved the breakfast. The lady was very obliging. The bed was very comfortable with clean sheets.

I only stayed one night because visiting friends. Not far from Hockley is Battlesbridge, there is an amazing antique centre there, well worth a trip. Stay in the Isabella Rooms B&B, it’s lovely and you’ll save money compared to Southend accommodation or Lee-on-Sea, both of which are a short drive away.
