Wall Eden Farm - Luxury Log Cabins and Glamping, hotel in Highbridge

Around 15 miles west of Glastonbury, the Wall Eden Farm - Luxury Log Cabins and Glamping offer accommodation for 4 in north Somerset.

Very nice holiday site with farm shop and bar. Yurt was surprisingly big inside, big 4 poster bed and pull out sofa for the children. TV, small shower room and seating made it a comfortable stay. Quiet location not far from Burnham and various smaller towns. Several pubs, cafes and restaurants close by.

Burnt House Farm, hotel in Highbridge

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Burnt House Farm is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Highbridge, 37 km from Ashton Court.

Breakfast was a bonus for our guys, the location was quiet, which was perfect as they were working nights. Comfortable, clean rooms. The hosts were extremely proactive and called me as soon as I had booked to discuss access arrangements, accommodating our unusual check-in time. They even made sure the heating was put on so the property was warm for the guys when they arrived early in the morning.

Admiral Blake Guesthouse, hotel in Highbridge

Admiral Blake Guesthouse is offering accommodation in Bridgwater. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.

We had a 1 night stop over on the way to Devon. We were very happy for the stay at a reasonable price. We booked a double room with a dog. It was easy check in on a bank holiday. Contactless with staff but easy and convenient. Room was basic but clean with the use of the garden and kitchen. Everything we needed, had a little chat with the manager in the garden who was very pleasant and friendly. Would recommend everything we needed and pet friendly. Also a couple of pubs in a short walking distance Thank you for our nice stay 😀

I did not arrive in time really to go on a visit to Highbridge. As I was only staying overnight on the way to Cornwall the hotel was situated just right and it was very comfortable, friendly, clean and the staff were exceedingly nice and helpful. The food was very good too.

If you wanted a cooked breakfast you had to pay an additional charge, so we didn't have one. Other B and B's provide a cooked breakfast. The breakfast provided wasn't exciting. Evening meals were priced too high for the quality of food provided. £9.00 for 3 linda Macartney sausages and a cup of basic mash, I not great at cooking but I think I could do better. Nice view, nice rooms friendly staff.

First impression of the Sundowner are misleading due to junk yard appearance, then you go inside and the appearance is similar. But you get a friendly and cheerful greeting and are shown to your your room. Comfortable bed, decent shower and television. We had room 6 which is a bit small but as it is only a bed and shower you need, very adequate. We had a lovely stay and the owners are helpful in any needs you have. Highly recommended for short breaks and location to main towns and cities of Somerset. Would stay again.

A characterful place to stay with a warm welcome. Very clean and comfy room with a good spacious hot shower. Recently decorated. Very convenient and good value. The hotel is in a period of post Covid change with external and internal spaces being sorted. There is currently no reception or breakfast. But there are good cafes and pubs very close by. It is built next to, but at right angles to a secondary main road to Highbridge, so there is occasional night time road noise. It was not enough to affect my sleep.

The Grange is a little Somerset gem. It met all our needs. What made this hotel 10/10 was the staff and owners, we were made to to feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. Good bed, shower and bath, enough room and superb views of Brent Knoll area. Decent food on limited menu and plenty of space in dining area and bar room. The atmosphere is exceptional, mainly due the hard work of the team of staff and management. Ample parking.

It’s a lovely hotel, felt very homely because it’s not like the usual hotels that I stay in. When reading previous reviews it didn’t sound the best but believe me when I say they are very picky people. Great hotel, great location and will be returning, I was greeted by the most loveliest man I have ever met. Thankyou so much

Great place to stay with the dog! I have never experienced having a dog bed, bowl and treats waiting for us in the hotel room. There is a nice and big field in the front to let your dog out. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Was pleasantly surprised, not having previously stayed in a similar place – a house in the country providing hospitality as opposed to a hotel – that my stay there was enjoyable and the atmosphere was very friendly.
