Good communication from the owners, stunning accommodation and grounds, very quiet, easy check, very comfortable and the perfect location for our trip to Canterbury.

The cleaners helped me with my bags and the doors on my way out in the morning. So kind!

The room was a good size, comfortable and clean. The swimming pool - though small - was a nice bonus and we had it to ourselves. Staff very helpful. Nice bar area. A good location- but may be too far out of the centre for some - about a 20 minute walk.

A lovely village with great pubs to have dinner in (we had an excellent dinner at the Red Lion) or stop just for a drink if you are exploring the beautiful surrounding country side cycling or walking. Don't miss a visit to Mount Ephraim Gardens (You could stay in one of their beautiful rooms and enjoy a lovely breakfast after a truly peaceful night's sleep). If you feel like hiding from everything go hiking in ancient Blean Forest, that takes you right back into medieval times and fairy tale territory. Or else just walk along the many orchards and snack on fallen apples and pears that are aplenty in autumn. This is the Kent of folklore and Hernhill is perfectly situated to explore this lovely area.

The room was lovely and spotlessly clean.
The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was a little on the cold side at night. The breakfast was good and the service was friendly - however after we left we noticed that we had left something behind. We left a message on the answerphone (the only option) and to date we have not received any answer...
