The property was clean and well equipped. For the price it was good value. There is an electricity meter for which you need £1 or £2 coins for topping up. The host provides £5 of credit which was almost sufficient for us for the one night. The milk, tea, coffee and breakfast items were appreciated.

Comfortable, cosy clean rooms and friendly staff.
Nice breakfast with good vegetarian option and a free complimentary glass of prosecco anytime during our stay was a nice welcoming touch. Would have been happy to stay there longer and would recommend and return if come we come back to Dartmouth.

Dinner was OK. The staff seated us with the most beauiful view and we ordered dinner from the restaurant. The staff especially the Spa staff (a blonde lady in particular) were fantastic and couldn't be more accommodating and advising us on next steps after a case of food poisoning.

The Milking Parlour is in such a beautiful location, quiet and peaceful but within easy reach of many great places to visit, such as Dartmouth, Totnes, Brixham etc.
Gill is an amazing host, who goes out of her way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. We loved it so much we stayed an extra day!
The welcome treats were very well received, eggs, bread, milk, wine , beer and the most amazing coffee and walnut cake.
We will definitely come back to the Milking Parlour!
