The breakfast was great! First time I had experienced that I can order ấn omelette the way I like it on all of my bookings in the hotels. Great restaurant service! The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and very helpful. Thank you.
I loved the pool and the sauna too plus a gym was a bonus.
Late check out was great too.

Our dog was made welcome and stayed at no extra cost.
There was a really good place to eat right next door.
Despite being on a main road, and next to a motorway, the room was surprisingly quiet.
The room was spacious.
The hot water was great in both the tap and shower cubicle. No sudden temperature changes experienced.
Surrounded by 55 acres of breathtaking woodland, this 18th century property combines stylish contemporary design with beautiful original features and period charm.

We had a premier room, and it was spacious and beautifully clean.
Breakfast had a great choice, and staff were attentive and regularly topped up food, so it was always fresh.
Staff from reception, cleaning, and catering were all very friendly.

From start to finish the Hotel fell short of expectations.
From start to finish the Hotel fell short of expectations. I did not use the spa facilities so not able to comment on that aspect. The staff in both reception and the restaurant need training . It is potentially capable of being a reasonable hotel

The room (39) stunk of drains, the bath had black mould in the corners, the inside of the windows were very dirty but that didn't really matter as the room over looked a service road which had a skip full of rubbish right outside our window. There was a very severe overhang above the bed which made it extremely awkward to get in and out of bed which was evident from the blood stain from a previous visitor still on the wall (no apparent attempt to clean it). The decor was shabby (not chic) with 1970's furniture. To be fair the staff were nice and breakfast was good. However the cost and rating for this hotel is questionable considering the so called budget brands are much nicer. There was a wedding on so I am assuming they got preferential treatment hence were left with ROOM 39☹️

It is a lovely comfortable hotel.
It is a lovely comfortable hotel. All the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. The evening meals wasn't my taste. I like more plainer food but my husband loved every bit of his meal.
The pool, jacuzzi and steam rooms are complimentary to hotel guests but the pool and jacuzzi was a bit too cold for me. The car park is a little walk away but you can always drop off and pick up at the hotel entrance which my husband did with me and our bags. Would I visit again, definitely, yes I would.

Top qaulity Hotel, excellent Restaurant with an outstanding menu.
The Staff throughtout the Hotel were very friendly and most hewlpful.
The hotel is sistuated in an ideal area as a base for local attactions and places to visit. We would advise at least two nights to take advantage of the surrounding area.
One point of caution our Satnav took us to the Goods Entrance of the hotel, just follow instructions from Hotel, not as we did by the SatNav.

We didn’t even stay. As soon as we walked in we walked out.
We didn’t even stay. As soon as we walked in we walked out. Handed the key back in immediately. It’s a dump. Aweful. I’m extremely ill with life threatening illness and was so upset. I’m really hoping for a full refund. But I cannot do this immediately as I’m bed ridden and suffer mental illnesses. I’d love some help with getting my money back on something I didn’t use?

The hotel had a lot of character which made a pleasant change from the usual commercial hotels. Although the restaurant was closed during our stay the bar meals were varied and cooked by a chef. The meals were excellent and well presented. They were enjoyed by my 6 year old through to my 78 year old father. The rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and attentive. We were made to feel like guests.
Stayed for our wedding. Everything was fabulous. We had multiple rooms booked (the barn conversions, an executive double, the fretwell suite and the Hellaby suite) - all were absolutely perfect. Staff are amazing, went above and beyond all weekend. Beautiful grounds. Lovely food. Spa facilities are lovely!
Location good, room confortable and facilities available including iron and iron board. Parking close to hotel main entrance. Breakfast plentiful and of good quality. Service in the "dining room" very good and veery friendly which in the morning is definitely a plus.
