Convenient location. Knockdown price. Friendly staff. For short stay in transit a room on an upper floor would be handy. See didn't like below.

It certainly isnt at Luton Airport. It is in Hightown about 5 minutes walk to the railway station and 10 minutes to the town centre. The area is a bit shabby but I didnt feel unsafe. Lots of nearby shops and takeaways. Restaurants in Luton or in Hightown (I went for a curry there, 12 mins walk)

It was in a beautiful setting and had loads of character. The breakfast was really good and the staff were exceptionally friendly.
A hidden gem. This place does everything that a chain hotel doesn’t. It’s small, offers personal service, quaint; however, everything you need works as well.
Room was plenty warm enough, had the biggest bath I’ve ever seen and the place is full of the owner’s collection of antiques and curios set in nice grounds.

This is a beautiful Manor with garden and the host was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was quiet and comfortable with a kettle for hot drinks, Breakfast was served in a lovely panelled dining room and was of excellent quality. Would stay here again and recommend it to others. A great experience which was really good value for money and in a great location just off the M1

found the locals to be very friendly, the surrounding villages a delight with thatch cottages, your not far from places of interest, ie Woburn Abbey and safari park, Bletchley Park, and the most fascinating SHUTTLEWORTH museum with its extensive private collection of working air craft dating back to the earliest of flight to planes used in the great war and 2nd world war(,they even have flight days between may and October), rare vintage cars, motorcycles ect. The swiss gardens are a must at Shuttleworth reflecting both Regency and Victorian landscaping and architecture ,it was completed by Lord Ongley in 1832. the Shuttleworth family story is very interesting.

I checked-out of your accommodation an hour ago & I have to admit I was extremely disappointed.
Both last night at 11pm & this morning at 8am, I was unable to produce hot water from the shower (or even the taps) & so I have spent a night at your establishment & been unable to have a hot shower. That is unforgivable.
Not only that, the sink in the upstairs bathroom is blocked & isn’t draining properly. In fact detritus is rising up from the drain when you run the tap which is very unpleasant.
Also the self-check-in using the camera & identification documents clearly isn’t fit for purpose as I followed the instructions carefully & yet I was emailed after checking out with the false suggestion that I was a “no-show”.
These are basic but fundamental issues so I can only assume that there is a lack of care at this establishment. In conclusion, the stay hasn’t resembled “value for money” so I will certainly not be staying with you in future & I am taking this opportunity to request a refund.

Timing perfect as I arrived at 11 and left at six the next morning.
Bascially an AirBnB without a host. No towels. No wifi. And no indication that you have to provide your own. Very bizarre check in procedures. I arrived late at night and the cab driver couldn't find the place due to the aversion of the Brits to having well lighted house numbers. Ended up driving back and forth. Finally driver had to get out of the cab to find the place.
Recommended if you know your way around Heathrow. Otherwise, I'd pass, which I will do in the future.
