Lovely clean rooms, lots of space, Excellent very helpful staff, we travelled as a large family unit as we were attending a family wedding, we had 3 young children with us 7 years, 3 years and 16 months. Nothing was too much for the staff. Would recommend.
Just off junction 12 of the M56 motorway, the hotel has free on-site parking, modern air-conditioned rooms, and a convenient location with good access to the region’s major road network.

The hotel is an interesting building that used to be a retreat for Jesuits and we tried it as an alternative to the standard Premier Inn hotel opposite. It is in some large grounds that you can walk around but unfortunately which are not well maintained. The bar and restaurant are in a couple of large old rooms in the old hall.

We stayed over on the way back from the Lake District so we could spend a day at Chester zoo.
We did go to a local Morrisons for breakfast before going the Zoo and we was also able to get food delivered to the bed and breakfast via just eat.

Beautiful Village with thatched cottages with a folk story of a giant having lived there, he is buried in the local church yard, well worth a visit. The local pub does affordable and delicious food. Excellent bus service that takes you to the Albert docks and all the attractions including the Beatles experience and Ferry's.

A lovely village, very friendly local people, with everything going off. Amenities available, shops, pub, park, village hall plus loads more. Very central to a major city, with the remoteness of a village and central access to the fantastic Wirral Peninsula.

Nice pub in the village for dinner.
Nice pub in the village for dinner. Quiet location but close to Runcorn. Roadworks are a bit of a nightmare getting from Runcorn to Hale however Google maps are more up to date than sat-nav for the new bridge. Toll on the bridge must be paid on the internet but has easy to follow instructions, £2.00.

Very nice small village with good park, church, history and even a lighthouse. Good pub:"The Childe of Hale". It's very handy for visiting Speke Hall, city of Liverpool and if you're flying in/out of Liverpool airport.

Can’t talk fairly as I used to live there - I was even married in the church. There’s two pubs which do food, nice walks, local beach....
I really love the place but I guess I would say that wouldn’t I ??
The cottage was so pretty, it is the quintessential English country cottage. The history of the house is unique and interesting being the home of the childe of Hale. It has a very nice atmosphere, we felt very safe and comfortable during our stay. Our hosts were fantastic, Julie went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, she was amazing! We loved seeing the ponies grazing in the paddock while I baked a cake. We will be definitely staying again in this lovely cottage.
We travelled to Hale as we were visiting Chester Zoo with young children. The cottage was beautiful and in a stunning location. Ideal having a pub across the road where we had an evening meal. Maureen and Richard were the perfect hosts making us all feel so welcome. The breakfast was superb. Maureen and Richard was sooo accommodating. And lastly such great value for money. We are looking to come back in the near future to explore Liverpool! Thank you x
So close to the airport so easier to fly after travelling and sleeping over. Great if you like planes or you're into your plane spotting as Bailey's Lane is very close and right at the east end of the runway. Aside from the planes, you're only a short walk into Hale Village where there's a nice pub and you're close to the Mersey for a wander.
Hosts went out of their way to please. Much better than a hotel room because of the different rooms on the property allowing us each to be getting on with individual activities or a lovely cosy sitting room where we cd all get together in comfort. Was exceptionally clean and smelled fresh. Ditto with the linen.
EVERYTHING!!
This is lovely property and I have no hesitation in providing this recommendation. Lovely hosts and the property hade everything that anyone would need for a stay. La casita is in a very nice area and it was a pleasure to walk to Hale Village and chat to some local people.
In terms of location, this place is great for the LJL airport. I was visiting friends who live in Halewood which was a 6 minute drive.
Facilities were fine, my room was small but perfectly formed and the breakfast box was fab.
Accepts pets, which is great.
Just spent a very comfortable night at Merseyview Hotel. Met by friendly staff on arrival. Room warm, comfortable. Complimentary breakfast good. Ideal location for me, 10 minutes away to Liverpool Airport. Will definitely return, great value and location.
Great little B&B, really friendly host. Booked this B&B by mistake booking the wrong Hale but very happy with the mistake. Lovely little village with a nice walk with great views of the Mersey and quirky history. Highly recommend a visit.
I've stayed here before. It is lovely. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Short walk to Hale village if you fancy a drink. Breakfast cooked to order, wide selection of items to choose from. Ian, the host, is so helpful.
The staff at the Mersey view hotel were warm and welcoming. The room was ok for a short stay trip and wasn’t that far from other locations. The quality and selection of food served at the pub it’s self was lovely
The hotel is located very close to the Liverpool John Lennon airport, which is the primary reason I booked it. The rooms were very clean, and the shower was a nice size. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Hale is a very pretty village, convenient to visit Liverpool and Chester. Family friendly accommodation, and Ian the owner was very kind and nothing was too much trouble. We were made very welcome.
