Lovely and friendly village with very good facilities...
Lovely and friendly village with very good facilities ranging from an Indian restaurant, pubs, coffee shop, shops to a bakery. The property is actually in Little Eccleston but the two are within easy walking distance. Just down Cartford Lane from the accommodation is the quite superb Cartford Inn with its excellent food and farm shop, next to the toll bridge. If there is a good sunset smashing pictures are to be had over the River Wyre. It's also easy to get to a whole range of places from here so there is certainly plenty of opportunity to spend time in town and country.
