It was handy for travelling the Island.

It was handy for travelling the Island. GRAMISDALE is the hub of the island .Don’t get over excited it is small but it does have a small grocery store, bakery, fuel and a riding stables oh and a lovely beach. Just on the edge of town lies a private young gin distillery called DOWNPOUR well worth popping in if only to support .

This review is for balavanich, it's an error to say the property is in Gramisdale. Balavanich wins no beauty prizes but as a base for day trips it is brilliant. Two good restaurants, two well stocked supermarkets. Open on Sundays and of course the airport is right there but with so few flights as not to be bothersome
