It was a good price. Difficult to give it a score. Reception ladies were very nice. The room had poor lighting I thought but I wasn't in it until late, then I was ready for bed. It had a buzzer from the kitchen which at first I thought may disturb me but it didn't seem to

We paid extra for an executive room as we sleep much better in a super king bed. The room was very nice. Spacious room, comfy bed and great balcony which we may have used if we were staying more than one night. The fresh fruit and yoghurt at Breakfast was excellent.

Godshill is a small village a 10 minutes drive to Shanklin.
Godshill is a small village a 10 minutes drive to Shanklin. It has facilities only a short walk away. There are a couple of pubs, cafes and a model village. It is very peaceful and has lovely scenery with thatched cottages and farms around it.
The pubs we ate in were the Griffin and the Taveners. Both pubs are suitable for children. The Griffin has a bouncy castle, a wooden train and a maze to keep the children entertained. The Taveners has outside facilities for the children. The food at both pubs are highly recommended.
We like the open plan downstairs area; the location in Godshill with pubs and attractions; the cleanliness - the property was spotless. Other reviews had mentioned the potholed track leading to the property - we had no problems. Unless you arrive in a wheelchair or drive too fast, it's no problem.
Super helpful and friendly hosts. Welcome pack. Great shower pressure. Had everything we would want (except a dishwasher!).Clean, comfy, enough space, quiet location. Godshill as a good location from which to access different parts of the Island by car.
