We had an exceptional stay at the cottage. Beautiful fixtures and fittings. Such a quiet and idyllic village. Beautiful walks on your doorstep. Great for walking your dog. The couple who own it couldn't have been more helpful. We didn't want to leave!

A lovely cottage with quality fixtures and fittings, beautifuly presented by the owners. Immaculately clean with modern facilities but retaining the charm of the cottage. Secure parking at the property. Excellent location for a drive through the dales to Reeth and Hawes. A short drive into Richmond and Barnard Castle. Great for cycling with lots of quiet country lanes. Would highly recommend.

Filling is a bit too quiet for us, not one shop in the village! There are 2 pubs, the one, the white swan is a Gaston pub, nice food but quite expensive. The other pub,the angel, was very clicky with the locals so when we ventured inside we felt like complete aliens!!
