The location , staff and spa were great. The food was good , the room and bed was perhaps not as nice as a good premier inn but overall I would recommend and definitely stay there again

Breakfast was superb however, we were not informed on first day we could help ourselves to open 'it looked lovely' continental breakfast before having a cooked breakfast, then charged as 'an walk in' which included charging for cups of tea, even though we had stated our room number. This was resolved by Michelle 'Deputy Manager' who welcomed us to a full breakfast experience the following morning. Superb customer service. Thank you Michelle

Georgeham is a quiet little village about 1.5 miles out of Croyde, but access is by quite narrow roads, often only suitable for single file traffic.
There is a good small shop in the village and 2 good pubs serving excellent food (book well ahead if possible).
It's a good base for visiting local beaches, and coastal path walks (Baggy Point is accessible by an easy route or a more challenging cliff climb.
There is also an open topped bus from Croyde to Barnstable (or shorter) with excellent coastal views.

It’s a nice little village with lots of friendly people. The two pubs in the village are quite different in character, but both offer good quality food and service. However these are both independent pubs rather than being operated by a large chain, so don’t expect any 2 for 1 type of deals.
There is also a weekly visit to the village by a mobile fish & chip van (Tuesday 5 -7pm) which does absolutely top notch fish and chips. Be warned though the queue is often quite long, but well worth it!
Georgham is nicely situated with Croyde, Saunton & Woolacombe within easy reach and places like Appledore and Lyndon & Lynmouth being around 30 mins or so away.
This being N.Devon you have to be prepared for the experience of driving on what are sometimes very narrow country lanes.

Georgeham is a picture perfect Devon village.
Georgeham is a picture perfect Devon village. Cheek by jowl cottages, two pubs, fields, walks, water, coast nearby. A useful little shop. Perfectly positioned to enjoy all the fabulous beaches. And great for challenging your driving in the beautiful narrow, windy country lanes.

As with all the nice places in Devon the roads are very narrow but the village of Georgeham is really lovely with local places to eat or shop and the beach is only a very short drive or a 20min walk away.
If you need to stray slightly further there is Croyde that has a few places to eat and drink.
