The Grounds and the main house are well worth a vist. Plenty of nice comfortable seating areas both indoors and outside in the main house for a night cap , early morning relaxed coffee or just sitting with friends for a drink. Good easy car parking. Close to the town. Quite no traffic noise. A delightful hotel in other words

Tuddenham Mill Luxury Hotel, hotel in Flempton

This converted and refurbished watermill offers chic, elegant and stylish accommodation in an idyllic 12-acre countryside setting near Newmarket and Cambridge.

Really happy with our stay. We stayed here 10 yrs ago just after I met my partner and decided to revisit for our 10yr anniversary. We had a lovely stay and was a very relaxing environment. The only thing I could fault it on was the shower wasn't as high end as the rest of the accommodation. Apart from that everything was fantastic. Will definitely be coming back for our 20th anniversary.

Dog and Partridge by Greene King Inns, hotel in Flempton

In central Bury St Edmunds, the Dog and Partridge is within 2 minutes’ walk of St Edmundsbury Cathedral, the Theatre Royal and the Greene King Brewery Museum.

The newly refurbished rooms are stunning. The updated decor in the pub and the beer garden look amazing. This booking was an additional room to a larger group booking for our wedding. Throughout our stay the owners and staff of the pub were fantastic. Friendly and helpful and even though it was a very busy weekend, we felt very well looked after and catered for. The food was beautifully presented and tasty and we were made to feel very special. The stay at The Dog & Partridge made our wedding weekend one we will never forget.

Accommodation located next to Suffolk Nature Reserve and that was the reason for booking here - nothing much in Flempton as such. Nature reserve excellent. Visited Bury St Edmunds and explored Gardens, Edmundsbury Cathedral, St Mary's church, old part of town, market (Wednesday and also on Saturday) and quite extensive modern shopping area. Parking easy. Also good visits to Wicken Fen, Ely Cathedral while staying at Lackford Lakes and Wimpole Hall and Anglesey Abbey on journey to and from Lackford Lakes - all very good. Self catering well provided for at the Barns so only ate out once locally at The Guiness which was good.
