As soon as I saw the hotel I thought wow beautiful …. Bedroom was standard just a room and a wet room good for the price but the walls were paper thin and the front door had a huge gap in the top so everything going out outside felt like it was in the bedroom…. It rained quite bad and there was dripping which sounded as though it was in the loft very irritating … there just had been a wedding party booked to stay so was very noisy when they got back … not great when travelling 5 hours to stay somewhere and needing a good nights sleep

Lovely location, extremely helpful and friendly staff.
Lovely location, extremely helpful and friendly staff. Food was delicious. The only fault I had was that we were given a room in the old cottage which I found unsatisfactory, very small, and no wardrobe, we were moved to another room which was satisfactory and had a pleasant stay there. Would stay there again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay in Fincham. It is a charming and quiet village and I could have happily spent many happy hours walking in the countryside. Alas, I was only there for one night but will be returning, I hope, in the future.

Dated room and facilities, uncomfy and squicky bed, very small TV.
Iron stained my shirt and although receptionist took pics and said owners will be in touch didn't hear from them.
Benches on the terrace are uncomfy and, since I have back issues, have requested a chair. Been told there is no chair available for me to use outside.
Breakfast came without the scrambled eggs and by the time those arrived the rest was already cold.
Overall disappointing, owners are clearly trying to get as much as possible with minimum staff.

The area is an hours drive from the coast and an hour from Norwich. Well placed for travelling in Norfolk.
The Hare Pub was around 15minute drive away. Great food. Families too. Big garden.
I went to Watatunga safari nature reserve. Expensive but ok.
