Early check in. Bright and spacious room, nice view of quaint street, hills at the back. Especially loved the hugh white supersoft cuddly fluffy towel. Friendly people. Breakfast very good, cooked to order. Nice beer garden at the rear. Pretty fairy lights in the pub. Quiet midweek. All in all we enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose this hotel again.

Fairbourne itself did not have a lot in terms of entertainment but it is close to lots of places that are worth a visit. However, the miniature railway is really good and takes you to Barmouth Station where you can then get a ferry to the harbour. The views on this trip are really worth seeing.

Scenic, great beaches, fascinating river estuary/nature reserve, local shops, peaceful, rail link. Local ferry to Barmouth, available summer months, footbridge across river - pay the troll - otherwise longish drive. Not far by road to Snowdonia and other local attractions.

Fairbourne is quite a small place with beautiful scenery, and the beach is gorgeous, soft clean sand and the sea was wonderful too! We spent hours on the beach on Friday and swam in the sea to cool off! Perfect.
The house is spacious catering for 6 well. It has everything you need, well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom, and a great little conservatory for eating and chatting into the night. Lovely garden where the dog could run safely. Beds comfortable and a great couch.
The location couldn't be any better, 5 mins to the shops, takeaways and train stations. Yes, there are 2, network rail and the little Fairbourne Rail. 10 mins walk to the beach. We had a great time and can really recommend it.
Lovely cottage in a quiet location outside Fairbourne , within easy driving distance of Barmouth and Talybont.
Comfy lounge and dining room , well equipped kitchen , great bathroom.
We loved the welcome package of the wine, bread and milk.
Recommend the George iii pub and restaurant up the road , fabulous food and lovely views over the estuary.
No food was available due to power fault in supply to the kitchen.
I appreciate the hotel had recently been refurbished, they now need to follow-up on the snagging.

Beautifully decorated - just my sort of thing.
Lovely to have complimentary tea, coffee, milk and biscuits especially after a 3 hour drive.
Couple of minutes walk to the shops in Fairbourne.
About 10 minutes to the only pub and beach.
We visited off season but there is a nice community in Fairbourne and the property is a few metres flat walk from the station, a shop a post office, a cafe, a chippie and a pub.
The property has all the facilities needed for a family break in Fairbourne. The photographs of local places and the ordnance survey map make a very nice touch to the property.
we always love any of the Hendoll properties. Great property and in a beautiful place. Fairbourne offers great walking and scenery, it never fails to deliver
