We arrived at the property and were then told that 2 of our party had already arrived. We had all arrived together so this wasn’t possible.
The owner had given away one of our double rooms which we paid for. After waiting in the filthy kitchen area for 15 minutes we were then told that they would have to put a double bed in the single room to make 5 beds. This wasn’t an appropriate sleeping arrangement for our party. We had booked 3 rooms for a reason It was becoming clear there were not enough beds regardless so 2 members of our party decided to book a hotel locally. 2 of us that stayed behind one was running the London marathon the next morning and one is 6 months pregnant. When they went in the room it was filthy, the bed sheets had stains and there was no lock on the door. There was a large key hole which could have been peered through. With being pregnant and vulnerable on of us decided she couldn’t stay either. One member of our party stayed as there was no room in the Uber to our new hotel They had a terrible night sleep with no curtains and a clanging radiator next to his head The house was filthy with mould on the ceilings. Sticky surfaces, a fridge with one door and e-scooters dumped in the kitchen. This is an unacceptable property and we are expecting a refund
