Breakfast very good. Plenty of choice. Rooms are clean. Service is excellent and staff very friendly. They are looking to set up a cocktail service in the bar in the future. They have electrical charging points for cars. They also have a courtesy shuttle service which takes you and picks you up to/from the main town square which is very convenient for going out for a meal without having to worry about parking. You can of course walk in to town as it is only 15 to 20 mins from the Riverside. Good choice of drinks available behind the bar.

Just a short break for the new forest as we had not visited for many years. Ideal for a short break, the owners had made the accommodation most comfortable and in our opinion spotless, so a big thank you for all there efforts.. We hope to stay again as the location was ideal...

The local view of The Bull is "only go there if you want a fight or drugs" - i'd say that is pretty accurate. As for our room, the plumbing barely worked, the noise from ventilation ducts was intolerable and the TV didnt work, not that it would have been audible above the noise. Dreadful place and I dont have particularly high standards.

We loved the close proximity of the pubs.

We loved the close proximity of the pubs. We had an excellent meal at The Goat and a lovely drink in the garden of the pub opposite. There was a convenience store at the garage close by and a Coop in the town. The town was very close to the New Forest.
