Excellent breakfast beautifully served in our own dining room so we could eat and read the papers in peace - no requirement to make polite conversation as the occupants of the other room had their own very nice breakfast room- this was a big plus. Lovely building and wide ranging gardens with places to sit, Our hosts were kindness itself and we shall definitely rebook, perhaps for the larger suite on the ground floor as the access is easier. Kay and Doug ran their own hotel for many years and they know hospitality inside out.

Great location in a lovely old world village. Very close to pubs & restaurants. The building was remodelled & quaint. Breakfast was amazing with several options for a cooked breakfast. We loved our stay here. Room was spotlessly clean, bed so comfortable, lovely linens and so quiet which provided a great nights sleep.

We liked the location. Very pretty. Great communication from the host when we booked very last minute and late in the day. Some chocolates, biscuits, coffees, teas left. Awesome huge bath and some toiletries. Good facilities in kitchen, lounge - plenty of TV channels etc. Comfortable bedroom. Old building so does feel chilly but great central heating system warms it up quickly. Imagine it will still feel nice and cool in summer!
