The hotel is very beautiful and the outside surroundings are outstandingly stunning the energy feels very special overlooking the water, really enjoyed walking around the moors and cream teas in the bar chatting to other guests they all made lots of fuss over our 2 pugs and chihuahua 🥰 this was our 3rd visit to this hotel i booked 3 days here for an anniversary present to my husband with our furbabys to celebrate.on the second day off our visit we was approached by a member of staff saying he hadn't realised we had 3 dogs with us and was going to have to charge per dog we had paid a £20 dog fee before on other visits but we had just had the pugs with us I agreed thinking well if its per dog that would make £60 i did think that was a bit much but didn't want to cause a fuss, carried on enjoying our holiday.watched beautiful sunset’s and sunrise done some lovely meditations on the rocks, Room had amazing views over the bridge but was very small compared to the room we had last time half the size.

The chalet was perfect but Davidstow itself is a little far...

The chalet was perfect but Davidstow itself is a little far from main attractions such as St. Ives, Lands End, Minnock Theatre, St Michael's mount Also Davidstow is inland and does not have sea-view. This did not matter as we travelled around. We used the Co-op in Castleford which was 5 miles away. On attractions Lands End, the stunning Minnock Theatre and intagel Castle would alone make a trip to Cornwall worthwhile but visting these and the lovely harbours requires around 200 miles of driving. I would mention that entry fees are expensive and came as a shock; eg Bodmin Prison £14. But overall very positive.
