The area was beautiful 😍 very peaceful. My apartment was lovely, clean, warm and comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly and food was excellent. Boscastle was a very friendly and welcoming village especially with my dog, Milo.

We stayed in room 301 on the top floor, great views, bed and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom was good, good pressure in the shower and I had a bath every night. Steve, a friendly seagull, came by our window every morning for some food which we gave him. Dinner was very good. We had Venison, and breakfast was excellent also. The elevator lift was very fast, no waiting at all, and we had plenty of space to park our car. The owner came by to see if we were OK at dinner and to say goodbye when we were leaving. So very Hood experience all round.

Not a great fan of full 'english breakfast' anywhere, opportunity to have smaller alternatives welcome.
This 18th-century former corn mill provides first-class food and board, like a true traditional inn. The Mill House is on Cornwall’s north coast, between Port Isaac and Boscastle

What an amazing hostel right by the SWCP. A hostel how it should be with wonderful dorms, a shared kitchen and brilliant staff that encourages story sharing.

The location of this hotel is superb, being in the centre of the village, by the main bridge. We enjoyed being in the thick of things. Our room was of a very good size, after being in smaller rooms in two other destinations. There was a kettle and tea making facilities.
The blonde Waitress on dinner service when we were there was wonderful. She was very kind, professional, and efficient: she is a credit to your business.

The chalet was perfect but Davidstow itself is a little far from main attractions such as St. Ives, Lands End, Minnock Theatre, St Michael's mount Also Davidstow is inland and does not have sea-view. This did not matter as we travelled around. We used the Co-op in Castleford which was 5 miles away. On attractions Lands End, the stunning Minnock Theatre and intagel Castle would alone make a trip to Cornwall worthwhile but visting these and the lovely harbours requires around 200 miles of driving. I would mention that entry fees are expensive and came as a shock; eg Bodmin Prison £14. But overall very positive.
