Bron-Y-Graig, hotel in Cynwyd

Bron-y-Graig is a luxurious 9-bedroom Victorian Town House Hotel with tranquil river and mountain views. The relaxed B&B is centrally located for exploring beautiful North Wales.

The hotel exceeded our expectations: incredibly stylish with the charming ambience of an old guesthouse, yet fully renovated and impeccably clean. The view from the windows was amazing! We occupied a spacious family room on the top floor, which was exceptionally comfortable. The beds were large and comfy, adorned with pristine white and soft linens. The room was equipped with all the amenities one would expect from a large chain hotel only. The breakfast, included in the rate, offered a diverse selection: crepes, poached eggs on toast, even a full English breakfast etc. The high quality of the tableware and beds, the presence of small decorative accents throughout, impeccable cleanliness in every area, and the overall state of the hotel showcase the owner's welcoming hospitality and his exceptional professionalism in the industry! We look forward to staying there again on our next trip to North Wales.

Cosy Cottage for Ecotourism lovers near Corwen, hotel in Cynwyd

Featuring a garden, Cosy Cottage for Ecotourism lovers near Corwen features accommodation in Corwen.

Waking up to beautiful peacocks in your garden was a joy. Cosy Cottage was perfect with its piping hot showers and comfortable bed. The furniture is lovely and the kitchen was well equipped. Everything was perfect and a night spent listening to ghost stories by candle light was topped off with the company of Tiggy the cat.

Lovely little place in the middle of nowhere. Nice views, wildlife and the hut itself was lovely and clean. Had everything you would need and it's actually bigger inside than it looks on the pictures. Hosts were helpful

Nice quiet village where the pub was, however they did not do food on Monday and Tuesday. Very nice host, and the young man behind the bar was friendly. Great size room, continental breakfast. Was good to know that the owners had brought the pub back to life for the village. The owner sent us to a lovely pub that was doing food with a fantastic views.

Cute little town with interesting locals.

Cute little town with interesting locals. Stayed at The Blue Lion. Food was great but restaurant is closed early in the week, but food is available at Corwen only 5 minutes down the road. Cynwyd was central enough for us to travel around Snowdonia as we were there for Wales Rally GB. Great little place to stay.

Cynwyd is the perfect countryside location with easy access to local towns and Snowdon. It was a great base for us! We stayed at the Blue Lion (B&B and pub) which was fantastic - impeccable food and service, would thoroughly recommend! There are some gorgeous views around there too, and if you’re lucky, you’ll see the local steam train going by! We adventured to Snowdon, Betws-y-Coed, and took full advantage of the multiple Zip World sites nearby! Bigger towns are about an hour or so away, so it felt like we were always on an adventure, but not like we’d been stuck in the car for too long at a time. We especially enjoyed Llangollen. A visit to the river there is a must - you can walk over clusters of rocks to stand in the middle of the river. It’s absolutely gorgeous! We had a wonderful time and will absolutely be returning in the future!
