A beautiful little, 18C cottage in a lovely village with very comfortable beds, as good as any we have experienced in nearly 60 years of travelling. A small, cottage garden backing on to fields is just the job for a meal in the sun.
The village shop/Post Office/newsagent is only a few steps away, and has pretty well everything one needs, too.
We would have appreciated a microwave for our porridge, (but it tasted just as the same made in a saucepan).
Anyone over about 5ft 6inches will need to learn to duck as some of the doors and ceilings are very low (people were shorter when it was built). A folded handkerchief under a hat works well as a head protector for those with bad memories!
Thoroughly enjoyable and convenient for the local sites.
