Bron-Y-Graig, hotel in Corwen

Bron-y-Graig is a luxurious 9-bedroom Victorian Town House Hotel with tranquil river and mountain views. The relaxed B&B is centrally located for exploring beautiful North Wales.

The hotel exceeded our expectations: incredibly stylish with the charming ambience of an old guesthouse, yet fully renovated and impeccably clean. The view from the windows was amazing! We occupied a spacious family room on the top floor, which was exceptionally comfortable. The beds were large and comfy, adorned with pristine white and soft linens. The room was equipped with all the amenities one would expect from a large chain hotel only. The breakfast, included in the rate, offered a diverse selection: crepes, poached eggs on toast, even a full English breakfast etc. The high quality of the tableware and beds, the presence of small decorative accents throughout, impeccable cleanliness in every area, and the overall state of the hotel showcase the owner's welcoming hospitality and his exceptional professionalism in the industry! We look forward to staying there again on our next trip to North Wales.

Featuring a garden, Cosy Cottage for Ecotourism lovers near Corwen features accommodation in Corwen.

Waking up to beautiful peacocks in your garden was a joy. Cosy Cottage was perfect with its piping hot showers and comfortable bed. The furniture is lovely and the kitchen was well equipped. Everything was perfect and a night spent listening to ghost stories by candle light was topped off with the company of Tiggy the cat.

Myself, partner and Labrador stayed at Evelyn’s retreat for three nights. Perfect location for walking along the Llangollen canal. Lovely picturesque area, along the historic route through Llangollen. Great snacks, meals and drinks, and dog friendly at the corn mill in Llangollen, situated, next to the river Dee… The cabin with hot tub at Evelyn’s retreat in a lovely spot, again perfect with our dog. Lovely designed lodge, comfortable and welcoming, with everything we needed. Definitely would recommend…

The setting of this guest accommodation makes it convenient for all kinds of travelers, walkers, tourists, dog owners like us. Llangollen has a range of dog friendly restaurants. We ate at the m’Eating Place which we found to be homely and friendly , but we were spoiled for choice.

Our stay at Cwt Tyddyn, Cefn-brith near Cerrigydrudion made it to a nightmare, such a rude host. pffff Hope I never have to visit Wales again, if the are all like her and Sykes holiday company.

Lovely surrounding area with beautiful scenery and plenty of interesting places to visit. The town itself is a bit run-down and doesn't have much to offer in the evening as regards dining. There are plenty of very good restaurants and pubs in the surrounding area and nearby villages though.

It was in a good location for roving the area and peaceful. There were plenty of eating options on foot or by car ranging from pub to chef. The Llangollen railway line has a stop there. If you are looking for a particular place the PO sorting office is very helpful.

We came up to Corwen for the British Masters XCountry Championships. The hotel was really well placed to get to the Rhugg Estate on time. We had an impeccably clean, lovely room, overlooking the river. It was a very quiet room, which was great just before a race. The pub/hotel looked recently, tastefully decorated and the restaurant area overlooked the valley and river. The breakfast was delicious and really well cooked. Overall a great two days.

Lovely spacious, comfortable accommodation. Two ensuite bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space in the lounge and a secluded garden to sit in and read. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Appreciated the small food basket including local coffee and Welsh cakes left on arrival. House is walking distance to shops and Corwen museum. Had a good short break here enjoyed some lovely walks and a ride on the Llangollen railway.

Wow , this is a lovely homely style hotel , it didn’t feel like a hotel , it was so homely… its spotlessly clean , the bed was so comfy I didn’t want to get up lol , the rooms were immaculate, the breakfast was brilliant too , I was really stuffed after it , the hostess was really lovely too , 1000% recommend this hotel , either as a base for further travels deeper into Wales , or just a chilled out weekend …

What a lovely little cottage! Just enough room for the three of us and the dog, a great location both to explore North Wales in the day and to relax and enjoy the stars in the evening. (We live in the city so forgotten just how dark the night could be) The cottage was well appointed, clean and nicely decorated. Amazing views.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. The rooms, whilst quirky and individual, were spotless and had every everything you'd need. But best of all, Carmen went out of her way to make us feel welcome. How often does a hotel allow you to bring in a takeaway and use their facilities, cutlery and crockery? The Crown did.

Location, location, location! A beautiful cottage away from everything, but still within minutes of the village of Cormen. Well located to visit the snowdonia national park, and the historic sites in the north of Wales. If quiet solitude is what you’re looking for, then this is the place.

We felt very at home there. Nick was very accommodating and helpful giving us ideas about how to make the most of our stay. The children really enjoyed the football table. It was right in the heart of Corwen so we could benefit fully without the weather holding us back.

It was a hotel with a very reasonable price around that area. Had parking places for roughly 5-6 cars. Breakfast was too simple but that’s completely justified cause of the price. Family friendly. Overall enjoyed the stay.
