Staff absolutely amazing all of them. Dinner wasn’t up to the cost or the two rosettes on the two days we dined. Wine prices were outrageous. A multiple of three or four on cost I can accept but this was unfair

The staff were very busy but they tried to be helpful and attentive. The rooms were beautiful and very well equipped they had provided everything one might need. The food was excellent. The village of Ditchling is very pretty.

The hostel is right on the South Downs Way, so is perfectly located after a long day’s walk. The cafe/kitchen had a good selection of drinks, snacks and meals. The lounge area was really nice too and a great place to relax with a good selection of board games. The staff were really friendly too.
Ann & Martin were the perfect hosts. The property is furnished to a very high standard in all areas. The grounds are beautiful. The location is ideal for touring East Sussex and West Kent. There are plenty of places to eat in the area, and Ann & Martin can recommend to suit any requirements.

Stunning house and excellent facilities.
Stunning house and excellent facilities. Large comfortable bed and great easy to operate shower in en suite. Food was plentiful and variable. Hosts were friendly and helpful giving us lots of extras. Will definitely be booking again in the new year.
