I had work & friends to meet elsewhere so going back because as I left I came across the most stunning walk/valley & river.
The village itself has a quaint shop with coffees etc.
Easy for Cirencester. Burford Bibury.
I ate at the pub-sorry there was nothing left on the plate to photograph.

This is a wonderful hotel/pub. Really enjoyed my stay. Room was clean. Nice bathroom products. Bed comfortable. It was above the dining room so you hear the stereo below but they turn it off at 10.30.
Food was really good. Great selection of starters and mains. The pork crackling starter was fantastic! Breakfasts are very good and come quickly. Oddly the coffee on two days was cold?!
I’ll definitely go back.
Pretty much everything was perfect, the staff were brilliant, we had several meals at the pub which were amazing and so relaxing (even with our 4yo), the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had at a hotel/B&B. Our room was an OK size if it was just two of us, and although definitely not a suite (more on that below) it had a beautiful bathroom and garden area and we could park right next to our entrance.
We stayed in a cottage, in a very nice room, cosy and calm, with an espresso machine, and a kettle for tea. The bed was comfortable.
The best of all, was the breakfast. Lovely coffee with bread, salmon, avocado etc, and a yogurt with granola and fresh fruit.
The breakfast is included in the price.
We will absolutely recommend this hotel.
The room was exceptionally comfortable and exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and professional, and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The low ceiling section in the bathroom could use some highlighting as I nearly knocked myself out. The hotel makes an excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds.
As a foreign traveller to the UK, the hotel was picturesque and what I imagined the UK to offer. Staff were excellent, rooms are beautiful and the food is exceptional.
