Dot is a fabulous host and the food was delicious! Lovely clean bedroom and nice location away from the town centre but only a 5 min walk in. Breakfast was great with lots of options and snacks to take away for the day. Mini fridge in bedroom too.

Kings Park Hotel, hotel in Clayworth

Set in Retford, Kings Park Hotel has a terrace, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property.

I was greeted by welcoming and helpful staff. My room was clean, tastefully decorated, spacious, and well equipped - the fridge, and TV with YouTube app, were particularly nice features. The bed was comfortable, and the shower very spacious and easy to operate. As an early riser, I particularly appreciated that breakfast is served from 07:00. Breakfast itself included a range of sweet and savoury offerings, and was generally great considering it was included in the already reasonable room price. The provision of decaffeinated coffee, and a selection of biscuits, in the room was also a welcome bonus.

Clayworth is a very pretty village and the Blacksmiths Arms...

Clayworth is a very pretty village and the Blacksmiths Arms is a stylish restaurant with a great atmosphere. We stayed overnight for my husband's birthday so we didn't have to drive home after our meal. The room was very luxurious with a queen sized bed, ultra modern shower and a roll top bath. Everywhere was spotlessly clean including the restaurant. We couldn't be more pleased and will definitely go back
