House is set in the beautiful Kent countryside, easy walk to local pubs, castles etc. Plenty of parking space. The Tudor Wing is based around a medieval hall so lots of wonky floors, low beams and doorways and a bit warren like in layout. Very well equipped kitchen with 2 1/2 fridges, 1 1/2 freezers, a walk in larder etc, plenty of pans and trays, loads of kitchen knives, crockery, cutlery, mugs and glasses. Shared heated pool (with a rota to avoid clashes with the main house), lovely garden incl outside seating & BBQ. All rooms were clean with great beds. If you want modern luxury, bespoke en-suites, clinical levels of cleanliness etc this isn't for you; if you want comfort, character and room enough to escape your friends if you need to, then this is it! Great host, friendly, available but not intrusive. Highly recommended.
