The property was very clean and packed with old English charm and character. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. There was ample car parking on Site. The food was delicious, with plenty to choose from. The portions were sufficient but not large and the price was on the high side.

Great place to stay, nice, clean and modern. Nothing to disappoint. and as said comfortable peaceful and relaxing sums it up along with a great overview across the fields the hosts were super helpful to and even made a late night call out to set up the heating perfect thank you.

The welcome was warm and friendly. I only just made it in time for tea and a slice of delicious cake. The room was spotless and well decorated and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty.

Nice location for visiting the area. Staff were very good. Inn was nice but we stayed in an annexe. With hindsight should perhaps have paid more for a better room, but the shower room, toilet was very good despite not having shelves or hooks.

Good location for visiting Suffolk as Lavenham, Sutton Hoo, Aldeburgh all relatively close. Chelsworth is a well presented, single street small village with relatively little through traffic so quiet at night.
Nice location for touring the area. We enjoyed visits to Lavenham and the coast. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Full English was very good, but choice of breakfast was limited, i.e. no cereals, yoghurt, fruit or preserves. Main part of the hotel was very nice. Easy to imagine it with log fires on a cold winter's evening.
