Black Horse Inn, hotel in Catterick Camp

Black Horse Inn; BW Signature Collection is set in the heart of the village of Kirkby Fleetham, in the North Yorkshire countryside.

The super-king bed was very comfortable (the best we had in an 11 day trip) and the room was spacious. Bathroom also spacious and a lovely bath. Room was quiet (not always the case with a pub), just very occasional noise from upstairs which was not a problem. The village is quiet and rural, and the location suited us as we were visiting relatives nearby.

Nice quiet location, handy for the local towns, pubs and the yorkshire dales. House was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The only downside was that there was just a breakfast bar with stools rather than a table and chairs which would have been comfier.
