The rooms were not ready at check-in time. I sat waiting for quite a long time as I had wished to change and freshen up before going to my daughters house for an Easter day meal. The staff showed no interest in me sitting there whatsoever and I left my bag with them and Went to my daughters without having checked in. When I returned late in the evening, my bag was not able to be located and it took a further 10 or 15 minutes before anybody could find it. Only recently became a solo traveller in situations like this and I must say this hotel made me feel completely unimportant and invisible. It was absolute rubbish to be honest with you. What could be more normal than a dad turning up to check into a hotel before going off to his daughters on Easter Sunday? I guess that’s the sort of thing a hotel is there for, but not with this particular hotel. I was very, very disappointed.

The spa was lovely and clean. Room was just the perfect size and was super nice for a weekend get away with partner. Had dinner at the hotel and was super good!! Super romantic and the view over the hills was so beautiful. Would definitely go back again and will 100% recommend to anyone thinking about staying!! We were attending a wedding at a nearby venue. The bakery was an ideal place to stay. Beautiful room with everything we needed for 2 nights.
Breakfast was superb and Andrew was a great host. Nothing was a problem. Staff were all lovely.
