We liked the room it was comfy for a night stay
clean and functional
The restuarant in the evening was hit and miss
Food was ok but service seemed to have no direction
We sat and waited to have our order and then the waiter came over to 2 groups of people who had only just come in and took there order before us
The young waiter was pleasant enough but didn't seem to have much motivation
And the young lady was the same
Breakfast was better and food was better than I thought it was going to be
And the manager was friendly and seemed to have it under control
So a mixed bag of experience

Had a lovely time, hotel was very comfortable, staff were very friendly, food and drinks including service was very good.
For us Capel Bangor was a perfect place to stay. A nice quiet village, only 10 minutes from Aberystwyth. It was a great place to just relax and enjoy the countryside.
There is a small shop in the village which is ideal for bread/milk etc.
