Lots of attention to detail given (toiletries, kitchen facilities, condiments, etc). Cabin had everything we needed (family of four) with plenty of room to move about.
Cabin was lovely and warm, and the blackout blinds work a treat to keep it dark at night. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if visiting the area.

Absolutely stunning village surrounded by equally stunning countryside, which is immediately accessible by walking.
Burwash does look like somewhere straight out of a Hardy novel. Sadly it is ruined by traffic and people speeding through the village. So many of them don't seem to be able to read a 30 mph sign.

There is a useful grocery store which stocks all your essentials
The little tea room on the High Street is a must visit. Amazing cakes served by really friendly staff.
the Rose and Crown pub is a must too, very quaint and again the service is excellent. Very friendly and the rooms for B&B are very clean.
Do not go to the Bear pub or stay at the Bear Hotel. The staff are very rude and don't deserve your custom
Burwash is ideally placed for Hastings, Eastbourne and Tunbridge Wells

Lovely little village, not much there apart from the pub and a small shop but some great local walks across the countryside and the most amazing sunsets over the hill tops. We ate in the pub next to the accommodation which was lovely pub food and if the weather is nice has a large pub garden.

The breakfast was lovely, as was the lady who cooked it. Think her name was Amy. Very obliging and accommodating. The landlady was great too. The 'smokey' fish pie was great and the chef was chatty. Burwash is a pleasant place with a great church and close to Rudyard Kipling's interesting house.
The room was a good size & had a garden view. Some of the surrounding countryside could also be seen. The staff were friendly & the pub food was good, parking was right outside my room. Overall I had an enjoyable few days based in Burwash.
Great countryside location for a weekend escape. Burwash is a small village but it has its history and 2 pubs walking distance from the BnB. In the tradition of a perfect English Host, genuine breakfast was served in the fine china.
Brilliant little hotel,we were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived, great bar maid Donna couldn't be any more helpful, even helped us park our big van,
