The Bridges B&B, hotel in Broomhill

Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, The Bridges B&B offers accommodation in Broomhill, within 5 km from the coastal towns of Amble and Warkworth, at the start of the Northumbria Coastal Route.

Our hosts were wonderful, not only was our accommodation excellent in every way you'dhope for, their hospitality was equally wonderful. Steve and Leslie provided advice on excellent places to visit, places to eat, even bus timetables to nearby places. The breakfasts topped everything. There was nothing that they wouldn't do to make our stay even more perfect. I'd even say they ordered the sunshine as well. We very rarely revist the same accommodation but we will definitely be revisiting here. Andy & Marie 😀

The Amble Inn - The Inn Collection Group, hotel in Broomhill

Located in Amble, 15 km from Alnwick Castle, The Amble Inn - The Inn Collection Group provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

We were pleased with the experience, and honestly the staff could not do enough to make us feel welcome. There is another hotel in this chain where we live so even though we had an idea of what to expect, in our view, this experience went above that. The bar and seating area was wonderfully lit with comfort seemingly a priority.

Logi - Bear, hotel in Broomhill

Boasting accommodation with a pool with a view, river view and a patio, Logi - Bear is set in Felton. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

I felt the location would have been nicer if more facilities were open. We were not made to feel welcome at the bar onsite which was only open through the day. The property itself was lovely. I feel an instruction book on how to use certain things such as getting a hot shower or using heating of the property would have been helpful as it was freezing though the night. This would be a perfect stay for people who would just like to stay in the lodge and use the hot tub etc.

The area would only be suitable for people with the use of a car to get to other places of interest round about. Druridge Bay lake, dunes and woodland areas were within walking distance. Sadly, going out to eat needed transport but the B&B owner was willing to drive you to the nearest, recommended pub.

Very small and quiet village. Almost no traffic, beautiful countryside all around. Only one pub serving food nearby, others are at least a mile away, but there's a very fast bus to the Amble which has lots more places to eat.

Mr. & Mrs. Bridge were SO welcoming and could not have done more for us. They offer quite a bespoke service. Breakfast was delicious. The house and rooms are beautifully decorated, very clean, and the lighting was better than the hotels we stayed in. I would highly recommend a stay at The Bridges, albeit that it is a small B&B - one feels thoroughly "looked after ".

The rooms were beautifully decorated & furnished, more like a boutique hotel than a b&b. Everything was spotlessly clean & everything we needed was there; thick fluffy towels, bath robes, even little chocolates at the bedside. The breakfast was absolutely spot on, fresh fruit salad, cereals, yoghurt followed by full English breakfast, freshly prepared.
