Staff lovely, room nice breakfast good. Restaurant mediocre.

Staff lovely, room nice breakfast good. Restaurant mediocre. Access to Accessible room was through a lit of doors and some difficult to negotiate which is hard for someone with disabilities. . This hotel is under refurbishment so access to patio gardens etc not available. Was not given this information at time of booking. Blood stained duvet.

The room was large, comfy, a fridge.

The room was large, comfy, a fridge. Comfortable bed , large tv,. Breakfast average, poor value and I have a wheat allergy which the waitress didn't understand really. Evening meal was fairly good, little expensive for what it was. Good side dining room restaurant was very quiet evening and morning

    Worst service ever.

Worst service ever. No table available for evening meal, room was freezing cold, one small heater in bedroom was off on arrival and took ages to warm up. No heating in bathrooms whatsoever, staff fed us a load of bu#@$hit and did not deliver what they promised. Would never stay again.

The hotel is alright, rooms are spacious and bed comfortable. The price is misleading, because you'll probably will go there by car, and you'll have to pay the parking. And breakfast is highly overpriced for what it is. They have a policy from the lockdown times to NOT TO CLEAN THE ROOMS! So they save money on cleaning staff, but if you go to Reception and you ask them to clean your room or, at least to take the rubbish from the bins, you'll be asked to put it in a bag and leave it at the door! So do not expect any extra effort on the customer service side. Is a take it or leave it. A pity that nice facilities are so badly managed!

The car park is open to a public park and looks shabby on arrival. The reception area is nice and the bar pleasant. My room was large but the bathroom was dated, no pressure in the above bath shower head. Struggled to get hot water from sink to shave so reverted to boiling the kettle.

0 only if you are having walking difficult it's a lot of walking to do around the hotel lets you have your own scooter or or wheelchair quite big great place to stay but there again I think it's on the expensive side if you have to watch your budget it's so think you have to take him mind because as you can see booking.com hotels overpriced and I think now I just making money out of people because people don't want to go away and has the hassle so if you think about it isn't fair to us

Comfortable and sparklingly clean room, No air conditioning (but I had been preadvised and electric fan in place on my arrival = good service) No-one on reception on arrival, and bar staff had to be requested. The hotel was empty, but they had had a big event the night before. Bar staff once they appeared, friendly, helpful and food produced quickly,. A huge relief after a long hot work day,. Left before breakfast.

Stunning venue, we were upgraded to the bridal suite for no extra charge- unbelievable room! Lovely meal at night and breakfast in the morning. Some comments stated that it was noisy as near the motorway - we had no problems at all with noise and I am a light sleeper! Grounds were stunning and the town of bromsgrove also pleasant for shopping the next day. You can tell it would be a stunning wedding venue.

Great place to stay - beautiful old hotel with loads of character but very comfortable. Near motorway but you can hardly hear it.We slept very well. Friendly helpful staff and very good food. We had dinner as well as breakfast. Both were excellent. It also has lovely grounds that guests can walk around. Very good value - you could spend as much or more for a bland chain hotel.

the hotel is tired looking and in need of some tlc - smelt of mould in the corridors - bins over flowing and inn need of emptying . on the front entrance there was weeds and just looked untidy and then to top it off we couldn’t go swimming because it was shut so overall was not what I was expecting from holiday inn standards

The lovely welcome from the lady on Reception, the spotlessly clean public areas and my room and bathroom. A lovely, comfy bed, plenty of storage space, the cleanest bath I have ever used in an hotel, and the location - minutes on foot from the train station. Thank you to all who work so hard to keep this hotel so lovely.

Bed was comfortable and room was well appointed. But we received no service -- our rooms were not made up or cleaned the 2nd day, the coffees/teas/towels were therefore not replenished. For a hotel striving to be a luxury spa location, it's rather shocking that there would be no basic housekeeping service for the rooms.

The grounds were very nice, the layout o the hotel was good and the staff were excellent, especially the woman on reception, Sam I think. We stayed three nights in two Holiday Inns and ate dinner each night and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and reasonable pricing!

Really friendly and helpful staff, spacious room with a very comfortable bed, a great pub next door with good food and beers, and plenty of amenities close by; cafés, shops, restaurants etc. Also just a 5 minute taxi to the town centre.

Location was fine, about a mile from the centre of Bromsgrove, but a pleasant walk. Staff were all excellent, very helpful and our rooms were opposite each other as requested. Amble car parking, a good lift but not too many stairs.

The room was extremely spacious and it was nice to have a little fridge in it, as I had bought chilled food for my son and family who I was in Bromsgrove visiting and was not going to see them until well after I arrived.
