The fact that we are repeat visitors says it all, always a pleasure to stay here. The location for us cannot be bettered, so close to all the places & dining options that we enjoy. All the staff that we have encountered are friendly, helpful & efficient. A special shout out to Clare on reception, always a pleasure to talk to, a real asset to the business. Keep up the good work, we look forward to staying again next year.

Britain’s 4th most popular visitor destination, Bristol boasts Brunel’s magnificent Clifton Suspension Bridge spanning the River Avon. More Brunel handiwork is in the harbour where his SS Great Britain steamship is moored. Pirate walks here detail the city’s underground naval history.
Further north in Clifton is the world’s oldest zoo outside a capital city. Other Bristol attractions include At-Bristol Museum and the Grade I-listed Corn Exchange with its 4 "nails" outside where money changed hands. Also worth a visit is St Nicholas Market, in a Georgian square home to several bars and a Slow Food Market on the 1st Sunday of every month. Other Bristol shopping options include shopping centres at Cabot Circus, and Cribbs Causeway on the outskirts.
As a student city, Bristol really comes to life after dark. The live music scene here is fantastic and has given way to several internationally known bands, but for something more alternative head to Eastside.
Another option for alternative-seekers is the work of hometown street artists Banksy. Just like Booking.com’s Bristol accommodation, his work is spread throughout this fabulous city.
This Gateway to the West Country is served by Bristol Airport and Temple Meads train station. The old Bristol to Bath railway line is now a cycle route and makes a great day trip.
Attractive historic city, a pleasure to walk around.

Try the Flour House cafe on Park view. Great hipster food and coffee.
There's so much to see and do in this old merchant (slave trader) city which has now turned its face towards the environment and has a thriving university culture bringing vibrancy to the shops and cafes. Lots of diversity, Banksy art, music, art, history and architecture to explore.
Transport links are good, and there are lots of buses, some cool shops and big shopping centres.

Hotel well situated.
Hotel well situated. Bristol is a busy student city- a bit crowded. Hard to find space in downtown pubs.
A good city to stay in on the way to Cornwall for example.
Nice covered market, plenty of eating houses, lots of buses and ready taxis. Found eating at the hotel easiest in the evening.

This suited our needs for our 1st trip to Bristol. We stayed 4 nights. The rooms and hotel are a bit tired but the staff are fantastic and the breakie included is good value and freshly cooked. We got to know the smiling and ever helpful staff who made the stay special. Iman, Irune, Hannah, Ewa, Verity, Vineta, and Bea were all exceptional with their customer service. We will return on our next visit. Wifi was fast, and new beds were comfortable. Good location to get into city centre and Clifton.
Lovely couple of buildings in a great location opposite Victoria Square park. And also extremely close to Clifton Suspension bridge (an easy walk). Got the no. 8 bus from Bristol Temple Meads to right outside the hotel. The bus stop on the opposite side of the road takes you back down the hill to the city centre and back to the station. It only took me 20 minutes to walk into the centre from the hotel.
Although my room was tiny, the bed was comfortable and the shower worked well.
Fabulous hotel in perfect location for Bristol city centre. It was modern, well designed, very clean, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was fabulous and big. Breakfast was good and check in and out is all done on line so very convenient. We managed to park in at the hotel next door.
