We were allocated another hotel due to the Holiday Inn being refurbed, however the replacement was excellent, we stayed at the Hotel Ibis, Bridgewater, we had 1 twin & 1 double connecting rooms which were amazing. Loved the "industrial" feel and look of the decor. Breakfast was slow and had to wait for food to be replenished, however it was very good.

We had a 1 night stop over on the way to Devon. We were very happy for the stay at a reasonable price.
We booked a double room with a dog.
It was easy check in on a bank holiday. Contactless with staff but easy and convenient.
Room was basic but clean with the use of the garden and kitchen.
Everything we needed, had a little chat with the manager in the garden who was very pleasant and friendly.
Would recommend everything we needed and pet friendly. Also a couple of pubs in a short walking distance
Thank you for our nice stay 😀

Countryside all around, spiralling town of a moderate size with a river running through its heart.
Town centre good for shopping, wandering, plenty of nice cafes & other eating & drinking places.
Handy place to stay & visit places attractions in the wider area. Decent road system, easy to navigate. Like everywhere parking is the proble, but not if you don't mind short pleasant walk, as opposed to parking at the door of where you want.

I went to school here and lived in the area for many years so my visit was to catch up with some old friends. The town centre has improved over the decades and seems to be thriving - probably due to the current Hinckley C construction.
Retail and business parks can be found close to the town along with a selection of supermarkets.
Plenty of history in the area and a visit to the museum will highlight the local involvement in the Civil war.
There is a one way system through / around the centre of the town. Plenty of cafés and a Wetherspoons.

Bridgwater isn't the prettiest of towns.
Bridgwater isn't the prettiest of towns. It's quite industrial with lots of different units around. We only actually stopped there on one occasion for a brief while to get some lunch. We did find a suitable pub which was OK but nothing special. I was expecting more oldie worldy.

My son lives there so we went out and about by car, Bridgwater itself is run down and in need of some investment and tlc, not much to do in the way of eating out you would need to travel out a bit to take advantage of the country pubs and carveries, one bit od advice give the KFC in Bridgwater a big miss it’s dirty, seems more concerned with delivery orders than actual walk in customers, we went in on Sunday evening around 8.15, it was empty and we struggled to find a clean table to use

A really interesting town, full of beautiful buildings.
A really interesting town, full of beautiful buildings. Check out Castle House, the first reinforced concrete building in the world-1851. Also a visit to the Drake Museum. What a gem of a place, with really friendly staff. If you have time a walk along the canal, or the river.
We had not used this hotel chain before and selected The Bower Inn based on the information provided on Bookings.com. We were not disappointed, From the moment we arrived we found the staff welcoming and efficient. The room was exactly as described. The location of the hotel made it an excellent base for exploring the the area, we stayed four nights. The breakfast menu was varied as was the evening menu, service was excellent. Would certainly use again if in the area.
Everything. Parking was very good. It was easy to find and the location made visiting places of interest easy. The staff in the hotel were superb. The breakfast was lovely poached eggs first rate and plenty of choice. We ate in the hotel twice in the evening the food was excellent and having a bar and places to sit before the meal was a nice made a being able to
The Old Vicarage is a wonderful hotel. My room was set back from the main body of the hotel, as I had my dog with me, but this meant I had a private terrace to enjoy a drink on.
The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was well proportioned.
Dinner was lovely and breakfast offered a good selection.
The location was perfect for us as we were visiting the McMillan Theatre. The room was small but decorated beautifully and the bathroom was a good size. We ate at Marco Pierre White attached to the hotel which we enjoyed. All staff were lovely and we would recommend staying here.
Great staff and friendly service
Good food. And friendly service
Whilst not as luxurious as our usual type of hotel it was less than half the price we usually pay. It was clean and the staff were friendly. It's proximity to the m5 was a real bonus. Plenty of parking
Excellent. The hotel's food offering were plentiful. Starting with breakfast, it was excellent in taste and value for money.
The reception staff, principally interacting with the awesome Amanda, were very friendly and professional.
clean rooms and bar, friendly staff. Shower in the room was really good.
Pleasantly surprised that they allowed dogs in the hotel and didn't get annoyed with dripping wet cyclists and their bikes made a mess in reception!
The Hotel is located very close to the town center. There are enough food options around and they have a large car park just outside. The room I had was large and clean except for the carpet which could be vaccumed more.
Small hotel.
Great place to stay and have a drink and a great meal.
Staff excellent and service fantastic.
Room we stayed in was very nice, lots of space.
Large shower/toilet room.
Would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was easy to find. We were made to feel very welcome.
As we wanted to watch the England Football game on the television, they arranged for us to eat in the breakfast room, which had a television.
We received the most amazing customer service from al the members of staff but especially the manager of the hotel and pub! A massive asset to the business. Thank you so much for the upgrade.
very good breakfast, good way to start the working day. The hotel was only 5 minutes from where we were working so was very well placed for us. Onsite parking was also a bonus.
