Beautiful little village. Very pretty and clean. Local people very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Lovely shops and cafes. There are plenty of places to eat. Petrol station and co-op supermarket in the village. Feed the ducks. Buy duck food in the little nook shop on the river. The ducks ate out of our hand. The little nook has beautiful gifts. The best in the village, right on the riverside. Lovely lady serves you. Sit on the benches along the water and buy an Italian ice cream. The Italian restaurant L'Anatra was excellent. Beautiful hotel also. Hope to stay there next time. Mrs Rolts tea room does fresh warm scones with cream tea. And a beautiful breakfast at good price at £20 for two people..
We went to the croft the day before, which was excellent. But it cost £39.

Bourton on the water is a beautiful town set in picturesque settings. The town does get very busy and would suggest if you want to visit then do so as early as possible. The clear stream that flows through the town has stunning trees and some lovely benches along the banks. There are many places to eat and shop till you drop.

Lovely base to explore the Cotswolds but it was extremely busy with so many tourists everywhere. There are plenty of lovely places to visit such as Broadway, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Hawkestone Brewery, Daylesford Organic, Burford Garden Centre and Jeremy Clarksob's new pub, The Farmer's Dog.

The little town is really beautiful but sadly, it has too many tourists in the day. Recommend to find a place to stay there so that can enjoy the tranquility in the early morning and at night. Surprising find is The Birds Land which has various birds but highlight are seeing the penguins in close proximity.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated. It felt homely with very helpful staff. The breakfast was superb - as good as a very lovely hotel in London I stayed in recently! A lovely fruit salad, scrambled egg, smoked salmon and toast that hadn't gone soggy by the time it was served. Excellent. A full English was had by the rest of the family and they said that was good too. The location is perfect - a few minutes from Bourton on the water town centre.
The location was perfect. Bourton on the Water is beautiful. Everything was within walking distance. The hotel was beautiful. The room was very clean and stylish. Lovely soft furnishings and a tasteful colour scheme in keeping with a beautiful, old building. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the breakfast was delicious. I will definitely be returning.
