The locals queried our visit but we loved the history, community support, food & places of interest. Favourite English pub food at Goodbarns Yard, coffee at Seventh Heaven, breakfast & lunch at Churches Restaurant. Favourites sites include RSPB Frampton Marsh, Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre (definitely do a run in Just Jane), Fydell House & neighbouring museum, St Botolph's Church in time to climb the stairs & Maud Foster Mill only one Wednesday & Saturday. Big mention to the team at Mr Tyres for their speedy tyre repair from a nail & Oasis Hairdressers when you’ve need some TLC.

Market town with lots of different shops and a weekend market. Very quiet. Well connected by train. Even rail-replacement service worked well. Boston (UK) Marathon takes place there and it’s a nice route if the weather is good. Favourite restaurant Taan Thai.

Boston has gained a bad reputation, partly because of bad spins in the press and partly because of some negative locals. I grew up there and it isn't significantly worse that it was in preceding decades. Like all small (and not so small) towns it has been hit by the problems with high street shopping trade, but it remains a pretty historic town with some good attractions and the surrounding landscape is unique in this country - not the typical go-to destination countryside, but definitely worth a look if you haven't been before. Prepare to be surprised and ask the locals to reveal the area's hidden gems.

We stayed here for one day. The Saturday market wasn’t very big and was made up of six stalls. Shops aren’t very exciting and are mostly charity shops and vape stores. The coffee shops are nice and low cost.

The hotel was a beautiful historical property that is illustrated on the walls. The room was lovely and so spacious, fantastic towels and extras. The hotel is set in the center of the village over looking the church which I could see from my window. The facilities downstairs were great with a function room and restaurant. Breakfast was really nice with brilliant coffee. I felt very welcomed both me and my little dog who was able to sit with me at breakfast. Love to come again and would definitely recommend it.

Good parking. Friendly welcome on arrival. Room - Classic double - two windows with window seats - overlooking river. Well presented room with adequate power points and lighting. Bed comfortable. Neat compact ensuite. Excellent housekeeping. Evening meal and breakfast good with equally good table service. A return visit which did not disappoint. It should be noted that while not an issue this hotel is a period building and there are a number of stairs and a quirky floor or two to navigate - adds to the charm

Fantastic location, surrounded by lots of open space/fields for us and our dog to enjoy. Beautiful onsite pond covered in lilypads. Hot tub and sauna were a firm favourite, we made use out of these on 3 out of the 4 nights we stayed! Great location for you to access local landmarks - we visited Tattershall Castle, Frampton Marsh, Gibraltar Point, Skegness beach (dog friendly side), local pubs and public footpaths.

Virtually everything, much bigger and better than we were expecting, very well equipped, easy to find cottage in a quiet location close to Boston, lovely little orchard, great for dogs too. Not much more expensive than basic hotels but so much more and better value, especially having your own space. Good communication with the hosts, easy check in and out. Highly recommended, we know you'll love it too!

Location was perfect near the main Boston Church where I was involved in rehearsals and a concert with the Boston Sinfonia. The room and the outside corridors were agreeably warm. Good that the suggested car park was nearby and there was good signage from the car park to the hotel. Car park charges good for 24 hours. Pleased that there was a fridge and microwave provided but see below!

The 2 badroom apartment was lovely. Everything we needed was available. Very spacious. Location was exceptional, right in the centre of Boston with a beautiful view of The Stump from the windows, literally, steps away. FYI: It was on the top floor, so only able bodied guests. phone contact with management company for keys and password was seamless. Would definitely stay again

I liked everything about the property, it would be even greater if I could make a deal with Boston West Hotel directly for me to stay on a regular basis where I can stay for two or three nights. I am HGV driver and I spend 95% of my time in my truck, if the hotel could make me a good deal where I can stay on regular basis, I would be over the moon.

Perfect location 2 minute walk from the Marathon start line, and a 5 min walk from the finish. Great hosts, lovely clean room and comfy bed. Very good price also. There is also parking right outside the hotel (not owned by the hotel) which is only £3 for 24 hours so very convenient. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Boston.

This place is perfect if you just need a room in Boston.. its 10 mins away from train station/town centre. So clean and the interior is gorgeous. Not too expensive either. This is the 2nd time I stayed as I have buisness in Boston, last time the showers didn’t give hot water.. they have fixed this. 10/10

Everything about the hotel was great. The welcome, the room, the breakfast. They dealt with a small issue with the shower quickly and effectively. We had a dinner there and the food was excellent in quality and value. Will recommend to anyone we hear of looking for accommodation in Boston area.
