We had a large room with spa bath. The room was really nice and very spacious. The sloped ceiling in the upper floor bed area wouldn't suit someone taller than 6'.

Breakfast was good. Staff were very young, inexperienced, and not very welcoming. Faulty Towers springs to mind.

Loved the welcome, the food , the cosy, comfortable rooms and the views; a breath of fresh air at Middle Flass Lodge. We marvelled at the incredible transformation from farmhouse/dwellings to the present day guest house. We enjoyed the experience of being tucked away in a forest setting.
In the delightful nearby village of Bolton by Bowland we visited the beautiful little church, followed by an unexpected cream tea in the old post office/store, where Tim , the proprietor entertained us with local history & personalities.
It is obviously good walking/trekking & horse riding countryside 'tho weather & aging limbs curtailed, for us, such activites a little.....there are some good pubs from which to choose .
As there seems to be little in the way of public transport, it's good to have one's own form of transport.
Needless to say, we enjoyed a delightful couple of days staying at Middle Flass Lodge, thanks in part to Joan & Nigel.
