A lovely little village - a tranquil spot, yet just off the A303 and close to many lovely towns and attractions - Stonehenge, Stourhead, The Newt, Bruton, Shaftesbury.
The village itself is a small, linear settlement, but it does have a nice old pub, The Boot, with gardens adjacent to the river. Great for an evening meal or lunch.
