Our room was very pleasant and our two little dogs were well catered for, which was much appreciated. The dinner was good, staff very pleasant, charming & fun to talk to and we were able to talk with other guests at adjoining tables which was most enjoyable. We liked the ambience of the dining room, well laid out with smart linen table clothes but without being pretentious.

Loved town location yet so close to countryside, felt cosy and staff were exceptionally friendly, we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant, perhaps would have preferred the older section better though. Lovely characterful old building too.
