Lovely welcome when we arrived. Emma told us the places to eat and what to see which was helpful. The room was perfect and a great location. So close to the beach. The communal area with snacks was always stocked and was such a nice touch.

Oakwell Guest House, hotel in Barmston

Oakwell Guest House is situated in Bridlington, a 5-minute walk from the beach. It offers full English breakfasts, and a guest lounge with a large TV and a chess board.

Location: good for near to beach but grotty rundown street. However, the B&B can't be blamed for that. Unfortunate for them as they don't reflect the rest of the street. Property well kept.

Nice secluded location, quiet without being deserted.

Nice secluded location, quiet without being deserted. Easy drive to busier locations of Bridlington and Filey. Black Bull pub serves a limited menu but absolutely delicious. Difficulty getting onto the beach (for older guests) was the only problem we encountered.
