This was the best place we stayed in the Hebrides. Ann is amazing, and so is this self-contained extension to her home. Everything is tastefully decorated, bed large and comfy with huge view from the window. Great bathroom. Cosy lounge/diner with TV, microwave, fridge full of goodies ( including eggs and cheese!), kettle, hamper full of great snacks, croissants and sourdough bread. Unbelievably generous! She even insisted on taking our bikes to the barn herself so we could rest. She's brill!

I was craving peace and quiet, and that's exactly what I got. We weren't at all bothered about the dodgy internet/phone signal, it was nice to be disconnected. We loved the fact that we could see the Atlantic ocean from our cottage.
