The location was suitable for our needs, we only used it as a 7hr overnight stop so it was fine for that.
In the heart of the historic village of Laxton, The Dovecote Inn is a charming traditional inn offering fine food and rooms that are spacious and full of character. Wi-fi is free.

Great stay and the staff were friendly and professional. We really enjoyed it and wished we would have booked for 2 nights not just the one. We will revisit the dovecote again for sure. Would recommend.

There was donkey, sheep, goose and 3 cats on site. Very nice to go and see. We had nice walk around the village, had a meal in duke William. We had drive out to few places and had meal at queens hotel at east Markham which was very nice and excellent value for money. The owners of barn are lovely if you had a problem or wanted to know anything they was there to help.
