The hosts are very responsive to questions, and everything was well organised. You will need a car to reach it from Stornoway, and that is part of its charm. Do be sure to call into Tesco in Stornoway before going there as there are few places to buy food for breakfast (but there is tea and coffee at the house). The wifi connection is good, but away from the house you may not be able to get a phone connection (which stopped us from telling the owners we had checked out for a couple of hours) so do all your communication in the house over the wifi. There is a beautiful beach near the house and many more a short drive away.

I don’t think I’ve ever received a warmer welcome. Only booked for one night when I decided to travel a day early but could easily have stayed longer. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the owner, who greeted me as I arrived. There was even a gift for my dog in the room. The room was lovely, looking out to the small loch. Food was home cooked and delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Really good value and a great location. Nothing fancy, but well equipped and ideal for a night or two.

The host's communication was excellent with detailed instructions on how to access the apartment. Upon arrival we were able to get into the apartment very easily and were delighted by the food and drink left for us by the host.
The value for money, cleanliness and comfortable bedding were particular highlights. We will definitely come and stay again!
Lovely place to stay, bed is really comfy. The atmosphere is great and John the owner is really friendly and I had a good laugh during my stay. John made me feel at home and relaxed. The place is very ideal if you want to explore Isle of Lewis it’s very close to all the good sites to see at Lewis. I highly recommend this place. If I would be in the island again I’m sure I will choose This place again.
