No38 The Park, hotel in Alderton

Within 2 minutes’ walk of Cheltenham’s Pittville Park, No 38 The Park offers luxurious accommodation in a Georgian townhouse.

Beautiful boutique Hotel with a very stylish interior. Our room had a lovely free standing bath and they had left a gift of a small jug of Port for us and some shortbread for our Anniversary. The room not only had a kettle and Nespresso machine but also a lovely China teapot. All this added to our enjoyment. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Lovely treat.

Clarence Court Hotel, hotel in Alderton

This charming town house with free Wi-Fi and free parking overlooks a quiet, tree-lined square, just a 5-minute walk from the high street.

The staff in the restaurant at breakfast were especially attentive. The staff member remembered our order from the previous day, which was thoughtful. Good location from the centre (we were there for the jazz festival) We managed to park and there seemed to be spaces available despite the festival and it being a race weekend. The NCP car park is nearby at about £15 for 24hrs.

A lovely location in the west of the Cotswold region.

A lovely location in the west of the Cotswold region. Close to such tourist places as the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway, Tewkesbury Abbey, Sudeley Castle and Snowshill Manor. Very good walking country. Good pubs (for both food and beer) include the Plough at Ford, Pheasant at Toddington and Gardeners' Arms at Alderton.
