Perfectly located at the gates to The Cathedral Close and ten minutes to Stonehenge. The Chapter House is steeped in history and culture.

The building is very old and full of character. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and upgraded us to a bigger room on arrival. The steak restaurant downstairs was great and breakfast was good too. The lack of car park wasn’t a problem - we parked briefly opposite, dashed in, were given a 24 hour permit and drove a hundred yards round the corner. The Chapter House is so central - just opposite a little walkway straight to the cathedral. A truly excellent stay and we hope to come back.

Breakfast very good. Plenty of choice. Rooms are clean. Service is excellent and staff very friendly. They are looking to set up a cocktail service in the bar in the future.
They have electrical charging points for cars. They also have a courtesy shuttle service which takes you and picks you up to/from the main town square which is very convenient for going out for a meal without having to worry about parking. You can of course walk in to town as it is only 15 to 20 mins from the Riverside.
Good choice of drinks available behind the bar.

Rooms are basic at best but clean enough.

The location is fabulous, of course it is a 1.000 year old building so when you are taler than 1.85 you have to take care of your head on some places. The team is very kind, especially Izzy does a great job.
It is a very clean hotel and from the hotel/restaurant you can walk easily to the city centre of Salisbury.
Chef Tobias has a high added value to the entire establishment. Compliments!
