This was a lovely space, with one very spacious bedroom, bathroom and a kitchen big enough to have a small table. It also had a table with a sun umbrella just outside the kitchen where we could have our meals. The swimming pool is at the back of the house, and very nice, with recliners we could use. It's the family swimming pool, and they were not using it when we were, though were coming out just as we got there. We were not sure whether that was deliberately to leave the pool just for us, not very clear.
The hosts were friendly and Daniel could speak English which was very helpful, especially as when we arrived there was a problem with a funny smell. He noticed it himself and said it was not normal. I eventually traced the smell to the back of the fridge and they sorted it out, clearly something a bit unexpected, though it would have been picked up earlier if the house had been aired before our arrival. They gave us a bottle of wine for the disruption which was appreciated.
We were there for a wedding in Puy L'Eveque so this was a great location for us and Daniel and Sarah were happy with us coming back very late. It's also very quiet, so can feel very peaceful. Great to lie on the recliners by the pool at night and look at the stars!

Central location for the Lot valley and perfect for exploring the area. The hotel has an amazing restaurant with excellent breakfasts and a full menu for the evening meal, our food was gorgeous. There is a beautiful vine covered patio area outside the restaurant to the rear, leading up into a very pretty garden
Our room was perfect, with a lovely view of the fantastic garden from our balcony. We stayed for five nights and the cleaner left our room pristine every day.
The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, we arrived to the hotel at midnight after a two hour drive from Toulouse airport. They messaged us on our way up with the access code to the hotel and the key for our room, very thoughtful, excellent.
We will definitely stay again next time we are in the area, please try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

The view from the room was really something special; from right across to the horizon and up and down the Lot. We watched a tremendous sunset. The room itself is pleasant enough! But you spend most of your time looking outside as opposed to around at the slightly basic interior. The dinner was very good indeed as was the breakfast. Genial host who is clearly a great character! The hotel is situated handily for both the low and high parts of this beautiful town and seems very convenient as a consequence.

Off-road/private parking and a decent-sized pool and area to relax. Our room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was really good. Every day there was fresh bread and a different selection of homemade jams and small biscuits or cakes. The daily 'bowl of surprise' was a delight!!
