The apartment was really spacious and relaxing with excellent parking and there was a large terrace where we could sit out in comfort and enjoy our last evenings in France. It was lovely to be staying in a property with so much history. The breakfasts were great. They were our last continental breakfasts of the trip before heading back to Scotland and they didn't disappoint. We were also given plenty of flexibility over when to have breakfast. The location was ideal for us. We could have visited Versailles easily from there, but chose to visit Evreux, Chartres and Rouen (for the cathedrals) - all a straightforward drive away. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. A lovely family.
