The area of Venissieux feels more like the outskirts of Lyon. My visit to the area was just because of hotel location and not necessarily a visit to explore the area. At first travellers may be taken back by the area as its not not very well maintained i.e. there are overgrowing grass and schrubs on street sides, but if your there just for a 1 night stay and want easy access to the town centre either by car or public transport then its fine as a location.

A new outskirt industrial/commercial park. It was an overnight stay, very easy access by car. Good bistro next door with excellent burgers, 2 other restaurants in very short walking distance. Suits a budget pass through not a family holiday

It's economical but not so comfortable since it is far from most attractions and you need to spare some time for the transportation. Be aware of the pickpocket especially in rush hour! We had lost our warlet with credit cards and cash that it has caused quite a trouble!

Apart-hotel was a little bit further out of town than expected but easy walk to tram and only a few stops into town - not very much to do locally

it was nice to observe a place a bit distant from the centre.İ really liked havİng that journey with the citybus to the centre of the city. İt is a good place to stay there especially if you want to observe all parts of the city
We were looking for a budget hotel to stop for a night and avoid a long drive back home, and this turned out to be a good choice (good value for money). It's really ok to spend a night and not pay a fortune, and it's relatively close to the centre of Lyon comparing to other budget hotels. We slept well, the bed mattress may not be king size, but it's comfortable. We actually thought it would be worse than it was. So if you're looking for a cheap place for a quick stay, this one may be for you.
Very friendly staff. Sober, but clean room with a good bed and shower. Also, I needed a taxi to get to the hospital for work but that took too long. Then the receptionist, who turned out to be the manager, offered to bring me himself. That is 5 star service in a 2 star hotel. If you read this, thank you again! I made it into the OR on time thanks to you.
Member of staff on reception was excellent. Helped us plan our trip to the Stadium for the rugby. He could not have been more helpful! Thanks.

Not a place to go on holiday but excellent if attending a local event. Several restaurants next door for food.
very cold hotel. instead they can use the hotel as a fridge for frozen meat. no interest on heating the hotel. staff is wearing outdoor clothes and not heating the hotel. no heater was provided. please turn this hotel into freezing facility cold storage facility etc.
I loved the hotel! The rooms are very big and well ranged,everything is new, very clean. Very comfortable beds, impeccable bedsheets. The location is great- near the highway, but far enough to avoid the noises. Great staff!
